Weddings & Private Hire Events
FunBrix play areas are a great addition to weddings, family celebrations and other events where there are children among the guests.
We’re based in Buckingham and can provide equipment across the surrounding areas including Oxford, Bicester, Aylesbury, Milton Keynes, Leighton Buzzard, Berkhamsted and High Wycombe. If your venue is further away, we may still be able to help, with an additional travel charge.
How does it work?
We bring a selection of FunBrix equipment to your venue and create a dedicated play area for the children at your event. It gives younger guests somewhere they can build, play and use their imaginations, while still being part of the celebration.
We can tailor the play area to suit the ages of the children attending and the space available at your venue. Options include boxes of LEGO® DUPLO® bricks, cars and vehicles, trains and track, themed builds, characters and animals, Mega Bloks, XL building bricks, baby toys, dressing up and craft activities.
Most of our equipment can be used indoors or outdoors, so we can work with anything from a small corner of a reception room to a larger dedicated children's area.
Why have a FunBrix play area?
Weddings and family events can be long days for younger children. Having a play area gives them somewhere of their own to dip in and out of throughout the day, whether they want to build a tower, drive some cars, make a train track or settle into some pretend play.
Because there’s such a wide variety of equipment, children can choose what interests them rather than having to take part in a set activity. It also works particularly well at events with children of different ages, where one activity might not suit everyone.
And, of course, we take everything away again afterwards — including all those bricks!
What ages is it for?
Our equipment is mainly aimed at children up to around 6 years old, although older children always find plenty to get involved with too.
We have baby-area toys for under 1s, larger Mega Bloks bricks for toddlers aged 1–3, heaps of themed LEGO® DUPLO® builds for ages 4+, and more complex building challenges for children aged 5–6 and beyond.
This makes a FunBrix play area particularly useful at weddings and family events, where there can be a wide range of ages among the younger guests.
